Posted on 3 February 2020

Do you have more than ten books? Then you’re a book collector! The University of York Book Collecting Prize is your chance to tell the world about your collection. The winner will receive £500 and entry to the National Book Collecting Prize.

The prize is intended to encourage the collecting of books, printed and/or manuscript materials by students of the University. All undergraduates and postgraduates of the University, both part-time and full-time, are encouraged to enter. The winner will automatically be entered in the Antiquarian Booksellers Association National Book Collecting Prize, alongside the winners of similar competitions already established at other leading universities.
