Academic skills support in August and September

The Writing Centre, Maths Skills Centre and Academic Integrity are continuing to offer their services online.

The Maths Skills Centre and the Writing and Language Skills Centre are providing the following free and friendly services to students throughout the summer period.

Use the Writing and Language Skills Centre for:

• Writing Centre appointments - book here to get feedback at any stage of your writing from planning to polishing the finished product via email or a virtual meeting with one of the tutors. 
• Study Coaching appointments - book here for an opportunity to discuss anything related to study and learning. These 30 minutes of coaching can help you feel more confident, more purposeful and better informed.

Use the Maths Skills Centre for:

• Statistics appointments - Book here to discuss your data, analyses in SPSS or R and statistical tests. 
• Online resources on VLE (Login required) for SPSS, R and Numerical Reasoning

Also, try the two tutorials to tackle the big Which-Stats-Test-Do-I-Use question. The first is what you need to choose a statistical test and then Choosing the right statistical test.
