Events are taking place throughout February to celebrate LGBT History Month.

LGBT History Month 2018

LGBT History Month highlights the past struggles and achievements of LGBT people, with the aim of promoting and advancing equality and diversity. 

Talks, music, film screenings and a craft fair are taking place on campus throughout February - with events also taking place throughout the city.

Highlights include:

  • The History of the Transgender Rights Movement in the UK
  • Queer Noise
  • LGBT Representation in American and British Film/TV: Screenings and Discussion
  • Homoerotics, Homonormativity and Big Gay Hogwarts: Queer Perspectives on the Internet's Large Slash Fandoms
  • Valentine's Day Fair
