Eat, drink and be merry.
Organised by the International Students’ Association (ISA), Global Week showcases the cultural diversity at York.
Highlights include:
- Cultural Performance Night, Sunday 28 January, 6.30pm to 10.00pm, Central Hall
This is Global Week 2018’s showcase event where the University’s international societies put on a series of performances choreographed for the event. Each spectator will vote for their favourite performance to be crowned the winner on the night.
- Beverage Festival, Wednesday 31 January, 7.00pm wave one, 9.00pm wave two, D/L/028
Try a range of international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks provided by YUSU societies and local charities. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with the most votes will win the competition on the night.
- Food Fiesta, Saturday 3 February, 7.00pm wave one, 9.00pm wave two, Roger Kirk Centre
The Food Fiesta festival gives you the chance to try delicious dishes from across the world that have been prepared by a range of YUSU societies.
You can attend each event individually - tickets are available from the YUSU website - or buy an “Around-the-world” ticket to attend all three.
