How to approach writing a dissertation

Not sure how to approach your dissertation? The Writing and Language Skills Centre is holding a series of dissertation writing lectures to develop your awareness of the research process and the communication of research through a dissertation.

The lectures will:

• help you consider a topic and research questions;
• give tips on how to approach your reading and select sources;
• show how a dissertation is written up and presented.

The four lectures take place weekly from Wednesday 2 May 2018 (week 3) and are aimed at undergraduate and masters students undertaking a dissertation.
