Into politics? John McDonnell and Keir Starmer are in York next week for two fascinating events.

The York Union, in collaboration with York Constituency Labour Party, is hosting the Labour Shadow Chancellor, John McDonnell, as he brings his 'New Economic Lecture Series' to York to broaden the debate surrounding economics in Britain.

The event is hosted by York Central MP Rachael Maskell, whilst University of York authors of The Spirit Level, Kate Pickett and Richard Wilkinson, will join a special panel.
