Coaches may be provided on certain days to collect students from Manchester Airport - you must book in advance.
If you're living on campus, your room will only be available from the date shown in your offer of accommodation. You should organise hotel accommodation in York if you arrive in the UK before that date.

Coaches leave Manchester Airport throughout the day from 9am until 3.30pm according to demand. Please be prepared to wait for up to 90 minutes before your coach sets off.
The service is free of charge but seats must be booked in advance. The Airport Collection Booking System is in the 'Your Support' section of e:Vision. You can access e:Vision once you receive a 'joining instructions' email and complete online enrolment (see undergraduate things to do first or postgraduate things to do first for more information).
Places are limited and bookings will close earlier than the booking deadline if we reach capacity.

What to bring
You are advised not to bring more than two suitcases and one piece of hand luggage. If you have more than the suggested number of suitcases we may have to ask you to travel to York at your own expense, due to limited luggage space on the coach. See information on what to bring.
If you are unable to arrive in time, you could consider taking a flight the day before and staying in nearby hotels overnight. Alternatively, see our information about travelling to York from UK airports to arrange your own travel.
