What’s changed?
- No surprises: Whilst there will still be an annual PDR meeting, the new approach aspires to create a culture of regular year round check-ins. This continuous conversation approach takes the pressure off the annual PDR meeting. It provides space for ongoing feedback and support as and when it's needed rather than saving everything up for the annual discussion.
- Quality conversations: Ratings have been removed* to leave space for more constructive feedback and open conversations.
- The how as well as the what: The new approach encourages teams to use the Community Without Limits Framework as a reflective tool. Encouraging individuals to think about the aspects of the framework they champion within the workplace.
- Big picture approach: We’re encouraging a clearer link between individual objectives and broad University goals to give colleagues a greater sense of how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
