PGR Forum/Drop-in

The PGR Forum/Drop-in brings the York Graduate Research School (YGRS), the University of York Students' Union and PGR academic representatives together with the aim of enabling a wider range of PGR views to be heard within the University.

The Forum/Drop-in provides an opportunity for:

  • PGRs (via their PGR academic reps) to raise University-level issues with YGRS and York SU
  • YGRS and York SU to listen to the views of PGRs on a range of issues
  • YGRS to keep the PGR community informed of its vision and strategy

Get involved

Contact your PGR academic rep (if you do not know who they are please ask your Graduate Administrator or Graduate Chair) if there are any areas that you’d like to see discussed at the Forum (this should not include individual PGR cases or departmental-specific issues).

Forthcoming meetings

Forthcoming meetings are announced in the YGRS newsletter. Meetings, online and in-person, are normally held three times/year, typically in November, February and May.
