This year YorkTalks is stepping out of the lecture theatre to bring its incredible heritage-focused research to life.

In the historic and beautiful surroundings of Heslington Hall - the new home of the Humanities Research Centre - you can join us for a day of intellectual discovery in one of the University’s oldest and most recognisable buildings.

From a celebration of York-born painter and printmaker John Langton (1932-2025), to our pioneering work in digital heritage and heritage science, discover how the University of York’s research and community partnerships are breathing new life into the past.
