Event details

To help tackle the ongoing challenge of plastic pollution in the environment, researchers are investigating the effects of plastic on our ecosystems and the organisms within them. Join Katey Valentine from the University of York’s Department of Environment and Geography and learn about the microscopic organisms that live on plastic in our rivers and oceans. Discover what this could mean for the way larger creatures such as fish and invertebrates interact with plastic particles.
