Event details

What do contact lenses, food, detergents, cosmetics and nappies all have in common? Answer: They all contain water-based materials called ‘hydrogels’. Come along and meet the researchers who are trying to develop these materials for next generation biomedical applications. Find out how jelly babies might eventually lead to next generation healthcare and have a go at some simple experiments.
