Have you ever struggled to hear announcements in a busy train station? Do you find it difficult to have a conversation in a noisy pub or restaurant? Come along and discover how the ear works and how noisy environments affect our ability to understand speech. Find out how cochlear implants work and experience what it’s like to listen to speech – including your own voice – through these devices.
