Find out about the incredible acoustics of York Minster’s Chapter House as you have fun playing an interactive game. Join researchers from the Cathedral Acoustics project and discover how cathedrals are not just visually amazing pieces of architecture, but wonderful acoustic environments too. Discover how the Chapter House modifies sound in surprising ways.

Meet the researchers: Lidia Alverez-Morales and Álvaro Cáceres Muñoz, Department of Theatre, Film, Television and Interactive Media, University of York. The Cathedral Acoustics project is funded through the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
