Department of Politics and Military History Society Lecture

Ian Foxley (Former Lieutenant Colonel, British Army) was the Programme Director within a UK subsidiary of Airbus Defence and Space Group, Europe’s largest defence manufacturer. He blew the whistle after discovering secret payments within a £1.96 billion contract to modernise communications for the Saudi Arabian National Guard to ‘additional’ sub-contractors in the Cayman Islands.

He will relate the story of the experience, its impact and the political, philosophical, economic and legal implications which are still unfolding today.
