Cristina Costa Santini

"I completed my PhD research in the Intelligent Systems Research Group in 2007. Under Professor Andy Tyrrell’s supervision, I was able to accomplish the interdisciplinary research required to then be able to work in three biology related postdoc projects: the first one in AI methods applied to biological networks, the second one in DNA computing and the third one in cellular signaling and proteomics.

In addition, I also have enjoyed teaching AI to undergraduate students. I have recently moved from academia to industry and I am currently working as a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology at Celgene, where I apply computational analysis methods to life sciences data."
