Directions to the Department of Chemistry
The University is in the eastern part of the City of York. View maps and directions on how to get here by train, car, bus or bike.
The Department of Chemistry is located on Campus West adjacent to the Science Park. The campus is designed and laid out so that it should take 10 minutes or less to walk between locations. This may give you some idea of the scale of the map and the campus.
When you arrive at the Department of Chemistry follow the signs to Chemistry Reception where you will be directed to the UCAS registration desk which is located next to our UCAS visit afternoon room, number C/B101.
If you are travelling by car you may wish to try Campus Central car park or Campus North car park first.
The University of York's preferred Taxi Company is Six Five Nine Cars Ltd, 01904 659659. The cost of the fare from York Station to the University is typically £7-£8.
