Event details

A three-day workshop will be held with the aim of forging connections between Brazilian and UK institutions, and exploring the potential for future collaborations in the fields of natural products, food waste valorisation, bio-based solvents, monomers and other bulk chemical feedstocks.

Individual early career researchers will present their current (or proposed) research in this field through a series of 15 minute presentations. There will be a brainstorming session, broken down into smaller thematic groups (e.g. solvents, polymers, food waste) identifying synergies and opportunities for future research proposals and collaborations.

For further information, or to apply with a one-page abstract describing the work to be discussed, please contact bcfb-applications-workshop@york.ac.uk. Abstract submission deadline: 18th June 2024 (5pm UK time).

Acknowledgement: This workshop (4823822) is supported by the British Council as part of the UK Department of Science, Innovation and Technology’s International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF).
