The wellbeing and success of our students is really important to us. We provide a range of support to help you get the most out of your time at York.

Who can help?

Academic supervisor - for general queries, academic or personal difficulties, degree classification queries and exceptional circumstances
Your programme leader - for academic advice and feedback on your course
Open Door provides support to registered students experiencing psychological and mental health difficulties.

The Student Wellbeing Officers are Heather Buckby and Leonie Raymond. They are here to support you with any difficulties you may be experiencing - whether they're personal, academic, financial, related to mental wellbeing, or any other circumstances affecting your university life. You're also welcome to get in touch if you'd simply like some general advice.
