Find out what your offer means and how to accept your place.

Undergraduates 

You can find the details and accept or decline your offer on UCAS Track.

You'll receive one of two offers:

  • conditional you still need to meet some or all of the conditions of your offer
  • unconditional you've got a place, although there might still be some things to arrange or documents to provide

Once you've received decisions from all your university choices, you will be asked to choose a firm (first) choice of university and an insurance (second) choice.

As soon as you have accepted your offer at York, we will give you access to You@York (excluding Hull York Medical School students). Here you can track the progress of your application and upload supporting documents. You can also request your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) statement, which you need to apply for your visa. Find out more about applying for a visa.

Postgraduates

You can find details and accept or decline your offer on You@York.

You'll receive one of two offers:

  • conditional you still need to meet some or all of the conditions of your offer
  • unconditional you've got a place, although there might still be some things to arrange or documents to provide

The quickest way to provide supporting documents to meet the conditions of your offer is through You@York. Please do not email these to us as this can cause delays. We will acknowledge receipt of these documents by email and let you know of any outstanding conditions on your offer. Once you have met all the conditions of your offer, we will email you confirming this, and an unconditional offer letter will be available online to download and print.

You can also request your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) statement via the portal, which you need to apply for your visa. Find out more about applying for a visa.
