Event details

Will a bid to reduce the amount of plastic in our oceans lead to larger volumes of food waste?

With a growing number of supermarkets making bold decisions to remove plastic packaging from their shelves, our Waste Network members will discuss the role of plastic packaging in the food industry and the potential consequences that such a decision may lead to. Along with our guest visitor from ABP Food Group, we will also explore new methods and materials that could be used.

If you are interested in joining our Waste Network and/or would like to attend our second meeting please register your interest at yesi@york.ac.uk
