Work Wardrobe: free work clothes

We're continuing our Work Wardrobe this new academic year. The scheme provides professional clothing free of charge to students who need it for work or interviews. Choose from items donated by York Cares partners.

The Work Wardrobe is available at the Careers and Placement Building Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3pm in semester time. 

Run by York Cares, based in Careers and Placements, our Work Wardrobe will also run on these dates (stock permitting):

Semester 1

8 October:
The Work Wardrobe will be at the Law Fair

15-16 October:
The Work Wardrobe will be at the Graduate Jobs and Placements Fairs

Semester 2

May 2026:
The Work Wardrobe will be at the Graduate Jobs Fair
