IT Support whole-week drop-in Service Trial

The IT Support Office (ITSO) is running a four week trial to improve our in person IT support drop in service, with drop in sessions everyday, Monday to Friday.

The trial will run from Monday 12 January through to Friday 13 February 2026. 

During the trial, in person support will be provided in the IT Consultation area, located on the ground floor of the JB Morrell Library. Please visit the Library Customer Services Helpdesk, who will then direct you to the correct support. This trial aims to spread support capacity more evenly throughout the week, and will run alongside our other methods of support

Trial drop in hours

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:30am to 12 noon and 1:30pm to 4pm
  • Tuesday: 9:30am to 12 noon 

Service scope

The drop in service is designed for quick support (up to 15 minutes) on issues such as identity, two-factor authentication (2FA), wireless network connection and printing queries. Customers needing more complex support, or exceeding the time limit, will be directed to book a 30 minute appointment.
