Our Open Lecture this week welcomes Jorge Cham (the creator of Piled Higher and Deeper (PhD Comics)) and Daniel Whiteson, authors of the book We Have No Idea: A Guide to the Unknown Universe, to talk about all the things we don't know.

PhD Comics is a highly successful webcomic poking gentle fun at the every day experiences of research students and staff. With average annual pageviews of 69 million a year, the comic has a huge audience, and Jorge has used this platform to highlight up and coming research, talking directly to researchers and giving guest lectures at over 300 universities and research centres.
