Phishing scams are very common around this time of year, in the lead up to the payment of the first instalment of student loans and grants. Your maintenance loan and any grants due to you will be paid directly into your bank account in three instalments throughout the year. Your first payment will be released once you have registered with your university or college and your attendance has been confirmed to Student Finance England.
Your Tuition Fee Loan is paid directly to your university or college.
