Library now open 24/7

Posted on 16 April 2012

We are test driving 24/7 opening of the Library over the summer term with a view to making this a permanent arrangement next academic year.

Starts Monday 16 April

Whether you need space for exam study, research, or group work the Library will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a trial period from Monday 16 April until Monday 2 July, including bank holidays.

Responding to student feedback

24 hours a day - 7 days a week - 365 days a year - that's the plan

The University has launched this service in response to student feedback. The extension to opening times will help satisfy the diverse needs of our University community, for example students on placement and those with dependents or work commitments who may need to access library resources and facilities outside the standard working day.

Accessing the library

You'll need to have your University card with you to use the Library during self service hours (after 10pm Mon-Fri, after 6pm Sat-Sun).
