Guidance on research funding

There is support available at York for all aspects of research funding including: developing your research idea, finding funding, writing a proposal, applying for funding and managing a grant. Preparing a grant proposal - look at the support available from professional services including top tips for success

• Workshops on Research Integrity and Ethics, Data management and Grant writing are all available - discuss attending a workshop with your PI/line manager and book via the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Learn about Worktribe- a research grants management system
• Get legal advice on a research project - The  should be consulted before any research funding agreement is signed
• Departmental/subject-specific ethics subcommittees have a remit to give guidance for ethical approval of your research
