Campus campaigns
Find the right package for your campaign and display your message in the most prominent areas on campus.
All campaigns are subject to availability and require prior approval from the Communications team.
Display criteria
- Your message must be relevant to the majority of students - messages that are purely staff-facing are unlikely to be accepted.
- Requests are only accepted from University of York departments, teams and staff members. Requests on behalf of student societies and student-led events should go to University of York Students' Union.
- The following types of messages are not permitted:
- Commercial advertising
- Information appearing on behalf of individual/personal causes
- Advertisements placed by individuals or organisations with no affiliation to the University (free or fee-paying). This does not apply to promotions advertised by University commercial services, or partners with reciprocal promotional arrangements
- Messages from, or apparently from, outside the University (unless there is a good reason stated in the message, for example celebrating a significant City of York success that we contributed to)
Packages
These packages represent our most popular options. However, we understand that every campaign is unique, and we are happy to discuss bespoke options for more tailored requirements, such as campaigns only targeting specific campus locations.
Your items will be up for a minimum of six months (maximum of one year). You will be compensated in the event that we have to take them down sooner (eg in the event of a significant University-wide award).
All promotional activity must be managed through these official campaign packages and follow the required approval process. Unauthorised, 'DIY' signage or fly-posting is strictly prohibited to ensure the preservation of the campus environment and adherence to University standards. Full details are available in the University's management of temporary notices policy.
Maintainance
It is your responsibility to check your campaign items regularly to ensure that they are in good condition, and you may need to pay to replace any items that get damaged.

Costs shown below are for printing only. Any design work required may be costed separately and charged as an additional cost.
All locations are subject to availability and may change due to campus developments, building works or other operational requirements. We'll let you know if any changes affect your booking.
