AgriFood at York has a number of bursaries available for both PhD students/ECRs and non-ECRs from the University of York to attend the two-day event and conference dinner taking place on 22 & 23 October 2019 in York.

The 4th Annual N8 AgriFood Conference, hosted this year by York, Newcastle and Leeds will take place at:
The Principal Hotel, York on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 October 2019.
This year's theme is:
‘Celebrating N8 AgriFood: Creating solutions for a sustainable food system’.

The conference will showcase the crucial relationships, collaborations and innovative ideas needed to tackle the challenge of developing a sustainable food system. Through a mixture of keynote speeches, plenary sessions and focussed parallel sessions, you will be provided with vital opportunities to engage in the debate and interact with stakeholders from across the whole agri-food sector. The aim of the conference is to highlight interdisciplinary thinking and strategies that capture impact and influence on the whole food system, and it will address important and topical issues such as the global impact of the UK food system, health and nutrition along food supply chains, how can we produce and eat a sustainable diet, the impact of new technologies and how policy and regulation can drive sustainable food systems.

Please see the conference website for full details.
