PGR Forum
The PGR Forum brings the York Graduate Research School (YGRS), the University of York Students' Union and PGR academic representatives together with the aim of enabling a wider range of PGR views to be heard within the University.
The Forum provides an opportunity for:
- PGRs (via their PGR academic reps) to raise University-level issues with YGRS and York SU
- YGRS and York SU to listen to the views of PGRs on a range of issues
- YGRS to keep the PGR community informed of its vision and strategy

Contact your PGR academic rep if there are any areas that you’d like to see discussed at the Forum (this should not include individual PGR cases or departmental-specific issues).
Once the agenda is published, please let your PGR academic rep know if you have any views on the agenda items.

- In-person: Thursday 30 October 2025, 12-2pm
- Online: Tuesday 4 November 2025, 1-3pm
Agenda items include accommodation, student social spaces on campus and PGR working spaces.
