Who can attend a Discovery Day?

The Discovery Days are open to students in years 12 and 13.

You can book as an individual sixth-form student, or teachers can book to bring school / college groups.

Can I bring someone with me?

If you are registering as an individual, you are welcome to bring your parent(s), carer(s) or other supporter(s) with you.  They will join you at the beginning and end of the day and for lunch, and there will be a separate programme whilst you are in the workshops.

Please note that anyone aged 16-18 should be registered as an attendee.  Under-16s (such as younger siblings) can attend when accompanied by a parent/carer.

How do I book a place?

Each Discovery Day is bookable separately.  Once available, follow the links above to register for the day(s) of your choice.

If bookings have not yet opened, you can join the relevant mailing list to be notified when bookings open:

You can register to attend as an individual or as a teacher with a group of students. Please note that if booking as a teacher for a group, you must accompany the group on the day.

What will I be doing on the day?

Each day is different, but they all include a mixture of hands-on workshops, laboratory and facilities tours, and lectures. You will also have the opportunity to meet current students and staff.
