School academic listed in the top five UK scientific academics index
Dr Mahmoud Dhimish has appeared in the top five of a leading index of UK scientific academics who have completed their PhD in the past five years.
Dr Dhimish is an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology and his name appears fifth on the new Mendeley 2022 science-wide author database list of standardised citation indicators.
Over the course of the last five years, Dr Dhimish's work in renewable energy has produced over 35 journal publications in solar PV fault detection and crack/hotspots analysis and approximately another 25 journal papers related to PV degradation mechanisms. Most of his work has been carried out in collaboration with leading industrial partners in the UK and worldwide.
