Discover how the Sun works and get hands on with demonstrations of plasmas – the substance the Sun is made of. Learn how scientists are trying to build ‘mini-suns’ here on Earth to generate electricity and about the materials we need to use to contain these power houses.
Meet the researchers: Kathryn Harvey and Dr Kate Lancaster, Department of Physics, University of York and researchers from the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in the Science and Technology of Fusion Energy (Fusion CDT)
