Did you know that healthcare is one of the most useful areas you can apply physics and engineering to? Nuclear Medical Physicists will show how radiation can be used in medicine by injecting radioactive substances in a patient to allow accurate diagnosis and imaging. The event is presented by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), a York-based charity and the professional organisation that represents members working in this area.
