Department of Archaeology 40th Anniversary Open Lectures Series
Nicky Milner will present her discoveries at Star Carr and their implications for the European Mesolithic. She has been working there since 2004 and her excavations included the discovery of the oldest known house in Britain, a pendant with intriguing engravings and the earliest evidence of carpentry in Europe.
