Department of Archaeology 40th Anniversary Open Lectures Series
Steve Roskams will present work undertaken by our first year undergraduates at the Roman fort at Malton. This will explore how soldier/civilian relationships developed there overtime and, using earlier student fieldwork at Wharram Percy, discuss wider relationships between the fort and the Wolds beyond.
