Announcing the York Doctoral Publishing Prize!

We are delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural York Doctoral Publishing Prize, run in conjunction with the University of York’s open access publisher White Rose University Press (WRUP).
The prize gives recent doctoral graduates (awarded between January 2024 and before the submission deadline) the chance to explore opportunities to publish their doctoral research as an open access monograph with WRUP. The prize will be open for submissions from 2nd November 2026 to 7th May 2027. Submissions are welcome from Doctoral graduates in any discipline.
Winners will receive a £250 cash prize, support through the commissioning process and, if commissioned, open access publication costs paid by University of York Library.
