Melanie Boyeson will be leading this residential course for new or recently established primary science leaders. You will receive guidance, advice and support to help you understand the role of the subject leader and find out about science in your school. Mapped to the NPQLT framework, the course will provide a solid foundation for those wishing to continue their leadership journey further. The course explores 5 key themes: what is science like in my school, essential skills for leading primary science, assessment for learning, leading teaching and learning and raising the profile of science. This course is fully funded by a bursary for all state primary schools.
