Green Impact Laboratory Accreditation

The Green Impact team formed in July 2025 and has recently earned Green Impact Laboratory Accreditation (GILA) for the BioArCh labs.

Key changes implemented in the labs include:

Increasing our recycling of Ezee-Filters™
Encouraging lab users to fully close fume hood sashes to reduce energy consumption
Raising awareness of the sustainability of our lab's DI water use
Reducing our reliance on single use plastic tubes
Incorporating bioethanol into our workflows to reduce fossil-based/synthetic ethanol usage in our labs
