Department of Archaeology
We love to meet prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students and show them our wonderful facilities - King's Manor, our Bioarchaeology labs, Palaeo Hub, and outdoor experimental archaeological research centre - as well as to give an insight into life as student in our department and as a York student more generally.
If you want to talk to us you can meet us at the University's undergraduate and postgraduate online events, or if you have any questions please get in touch.
Find out more about the Department and student life in our student voice blogs.
Archaeology is based in King's Manor, in the historic heart of the city of York. The department also has state-of-the-art facilities on Campus West. We'd love you to explore these facilities and the city from the comfort of your own home in our virtual tours.
