Student Spring Symposium 2023
Take part in the 19th International Student Spring Symposium and share your community project with an international cohort of students.
The Student Spring Symposium is organised each year by the CITY College, University of York Europe Campus. Since its inception in 2002, the symposium aims to celebrate student collaboration and creativity through facilitating a time for provocative thinking and interaction. This year the symposium will take place online and in-person on 10 and 11 May 2023.
A call for student presentations
As part of the symposium, we are welcoming students from the University of York to showcase their community projects in the form of a 10-15 minute presentation. This is an excellent platform to share, celebrate and be proud of your achievements to a diverse community of fellow students. You can share your community project as an individual or in collaboration with your fellow student teams.
When: 10 and 11 May 2023 (timings and programme to follow)
Where: Online
Who can present? Current undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of York who have taken part in a previous volunteer community project.
Topics/themes we’re looking for: The symposium is not restricted to any particular topic or theme. We invite every student who would like to share and present their community project to do it without being restricted by any theme.
Deadline for expression of interest in presenting: 7 April 2023
How to apply: Please send the following information to sss_admin@york.citycollege.eu (please do not use the google form that exists on the website, this is for CITY college students):
- Full name & email address (if a group presentation the names and emails of all presenters are stated)
- Department or School
- Level of study (UG or PG)
- Title of presentation
- 50-100 words description (if available)
