Does your final year project or dissertation touch on a global development challenge?

Register your interest for presenting a poster at this year's online international student sustainability symposium on 23 May. This is an exciting opportunity open to final year students in all departments who want to explore, share and discuss sustainability themed projects across the University of York and Mahidol in Thailand. 

A call for student posters

We are looking for final year projects or dissertations that touch on a global development challenge involving one or more of the following:

  • Climate change
  • Poverty, inequality, poor health
  • Clean and sustainable water, air, and energy
  • Food security and sound agricultural practice
  • Sustainable human settlements, economic growth, industrialization, and lifestyles
  • Biodiversity on land and below water

We want to share a diverse range of projects from all different disciplines so please consider applying by clicking the link below before 9 May. We will also be offering guidance on making a good poster for those interested in taking part.

Why should I present at the Student Sustainability Symposium?

  • Professional development: develop your professional skills, including public speaking, networking, and presenting your ideas to others
  • Boost your CV: Enhance your CV and show potential employers that you are engaged and committed to your field, and willing to take on challenges and put yourself out there
