Scholarships

There are a number of scholarships available to international students at the University of York. The most important thing to remember is to find out the closing date(s) and apply well before then. Late applications are not usually considered.

International Office: Scholarship for Overseas Students

  • For postgraduates and undergraduates, any nationality (outside the European Union), any subject (excluding HYMS students)
  • One-third or one-sixth tuition fee discount
  • Based on academic merit and financial need
  • 1 May deadline
  • You need to be holding an offer for academic study before you apply

Email us for an application form. You may send your scholarship application at the same time as the application for your course. It should be sent by email to the International Office.
