Estates ServicesThe land and property section undertakes a key pivotal role supporting all sections of Estates and providing information and data to other parts of the University. The Land and Property Team currently consists of the Land and Property Manager and a CAD Technician. Primary responsibilities include

  • Asset Management
  • Acquisitions and disposals
  • Leasing and lease management
  • Rating and Council tax.
  • Plan updating and supply
Over the last few years an electronic database called EPALS has been developed which contains freehold and leasehold summaries together with associated location and building plans where appropriate. In addition a rent review and lease renewal “bring up” diary has been developed as part of the system prior to roll out.
