Estates Services is responsible for the management and strategic development of the University of York Estate which totals over 320,000 sq. metres distributed amongst 226 buildings in Heslington and York city centre.
The purpose and aim of Estates Services is to provide a high quality physical environment and meet The University's objectives of teaching, learning and research, as well as contributing to the economy and society at large.
To help us to communicate with our customers and achieve this aim, Estates Services has developed this web-site to provide detailed and user-friendly information about us. This includes information about our functions, work in progress and who to contact for services.
