Air pollution and SDGs in Africa as a Focus for Interdisciplinary Research collaborations (ASAFIR) is a new project funded by the University of York involving YESI, SEI and IGDC. The aim of the project is to develop research collaborations to support transition towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the University of York and between the University of York and institutions in Ghana and other countries in Africa.

One component of the project is to build capacity in ECRs within an interdisciplinary research structure. For this, the project is providing funds to enable ECRs to travel to conferences, workshops or to establish new partnerships.

The funds are primarily directed at University of York ECRs but will also be open to ECRs in African ODA countries who wish to travel to meet collaborators at the University of York.

PLEASE NOTE: The deadline has now past for this funding opportunity
