YESI is searching for a Research Facilitator to join its small friendly team

The York Environmental Sustainability Institute (YESI) is seeking to recruit a Research Facilitator to coordinate provision of support for new funding proposals. You will be based within YESI, an interdisciplinary partnership spanning the social, physical and life sciences at the University of York.

You will engage with academics across the University as well as with a range of external collaborators to develop proposals to regional, national and international opportunities.

You will have a demonstrable track record of developing large scale funding bids and a good understanding of complex, global environmental issues. You will have experience of planning, organising and facilitating workshops and networks.

You will have good analytical skills that enable you to understand the research funding landscape and our research capabilities. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to co-ordinate the input of others. You will have a flexible approach to managing a diverse workload and have a high degree of organisation.

Please direct any informal enquiries to Professor Sue Hartley (sue.hartley@york.ac.uk).
