Our BSc and MEnv courses are accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences, in recognition of the quality of our teaching.

Our courses

All our courses are multidisciplinary, and available with a placement year, so you can gain valuable real-world insight and experience that will set you apart from other graduates.

If you choose a placement year, you'll receive ongoing support from a dedicated support team with strong sector links. Through our peer-to-peer placement mentoring programme, returning placement students will give you hints and tips on how to secure a placement, and what being on placement is actually like.

Environment, Economics and Ecology courses at York offer an interdisciplinary approach that emphasises the ecological principles and human interactions which underlie environmental management. All the following courses are accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences.
