You may have some questions about our upcoming Open Days, so we've compiled a helpful list of frequently asked questions.
We're planning for the 2022 Open Days to take place in person on campus.
You're welcome to bring up to two guests with you to our Open Days. If you need to bring more guests, please email openday
Our upcoming Open Days will cover information aimed at Year 12 applicants considering applying to start university in September 2023. If you have not been able to attend a visit day for offer holders, you can visit campus independently at any time.
We recommend downloading our new app, Visit UoY, which allows you to take an outdoor, self-guided tour of our campus, narrated by our current students. There are options within the app to take a tour of Campus West, Campus East and the city of York, as well as a tour for international students.

You won't need to book a place at individual sessions and talks. Once you've booked a place on an Open Day, you will have access to all the talks and sessions taking place at that event. Some talks may be busy, so we would advise arriving a little early for talks.

We advise visitors to travel to the University using public transport where possible. There will, however, be off-site parking available as well, and buses will transport visitors from the parking sites to campus. We'll send more information about parking to you in your booking confirmation email.
Timings for the event will be on the programme, which will be published a few weeks before the event. Everyone who has booked a place at the event will receive the programme by email once it is available. There will also be physical copies available to pick up at the event.
