On top of our teaching, you'll also have a whole host of resources to cover all your learning needs.

As a student here, you'll also have access to other libraries in the city, including York Minster Library, the country's largest cathedral library.

Spaces to think, to work, to create

Our main Uni library is home to over a million books and other resources. It's also where you'll find:

  • our digital labs: tools, training and equipment for VR, 3D design, podcasting, 360 filming and a whole heap more.
  • the Borthwick Institute for Archives, where you can get hands-on with 1,000 years of history.
  • plenty of study spaces, plus a student kitchen, a cafe, and our new sensory rooms.

Stay connected

Laptop loans. Campus computers. Lecture recordings. Extensive IT support. Remote access to apps, files and course materials. Free wifi across campus and the city. A Virtual Learning Environment to chat with students and staff.

It's all here to make studying as easy as it can be.
